Last weekend I decided to explore London from the sky. Normally I walk pass the EDP Energy London Eye at the Thames river, but this time I saw the city from a different perspective. Fortunately, on the day it was sunny so I could fully enjoy the spectacular views. Before entering the London Eye, I went to see the new 4D experience, which is a groundbreaking 3D film with a number of in-theatre effects including wind, bubbles and mist. It was an interesting experience and it was included in the price of the London Eye ticket.
After, we had to wait in a queue for around 20 minutes but it was all worth it because the views from the top of London Eye were breathtaking. This massive “wheel” is one of the most striking structures in world. From its cabins you can admire London’s famous streets, churches, palaces and monuments, including St Paul’s Cathedral, the Buckingham Palace, and on a clear day even Windsor Castle.
The EDF Energy London Eye & 4D Experience is definitely on the list of one of the best things to do in London.
